MUSE CAREERS is a personalised recruitment company located in Australia providing an international service and job search facility designed to meet the specific needs of creative personnel and recruiters of such talent within the Creative Industries. MUSE CAREERS' facilities are designed for people who are in the Creative Industries, either using or showing use of the imagination to create new ideas or things. MUSE CAREERS includes within this interpretation those people responsible for bringing such ideas to fruition, such as key industry personnel and technical support staff.
MUSE CAREERS has developed a job search facility which operates through our Site providing services to both Creatives and Clients.
At MUSE CAREERS, as part of our services, we have developed an online facility which houses our Creatives' showreels and portfolios (the "MUSE CAREERS Online Database"). The MUSE CAREERS Online Database is currently used by MUSE CAREERS in order to match Creatives with a potentially relevant employment opportunity ("Position") with our Clients.
Any defined terms that are defined in the Terms & Conditions for All Users (Terms and Conditions) will have the same meanings in this Privacy Policy.

MUSE CAREERS is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. This Privacy Policy explains how MUSE CAREERS uses the information it collects about you and the procedures that we have in place to safeguard your privacy.
Collection of Information
MUSE CAREERS is the sole owner of the information collected on this Site. We will not sell or share this information to others in any way which is different from that set out in this Privacy Policy. We collect information in several places on our Site.
At MUSE CAREERS we collect information from Creatives to allow for us to assess and refer you for consideration for a Position with our Clients. We also collect information from you in order to provide the MUSE CAREERS Online Database.
Generally we will tell you why we are collecting information when we collect it and how we plan to use it or these things will be obvious when we collect the information. We collect information such as your name, address, telephone number, email address, skills, residency, experience, preferred work location, current availability, portfolio and showreel and in some cases, financial details ("Profile").
Use of Information
MUSE CAREERS may use your personal information to communicate with you in relation to our Site and the MUSE CAREERS Services. We do not generally collect sensitive information, however, if we do, it will usually be for the purposes of providing the MUSE CAREERS Services and if the law requires us to, we will seek your consent to collect it.
All information provided by Creatives is done so voluntarily. In the event you choose not to provide us with all relevant details, we may be limited in our ability to assist you in finding a suitable Position.
As part of the MUSE CAREERS Services, a MUSE CAREERS representative will search Profiles and check suitability against Positions. In order to perform the MUSE CAREERS Services effectively, we may release certain appropriate information to our Clients with your permission.
Creatives voluntarily giving any personal information through the MUSE CAREERS Services are understood by us as giving explicit consent to this information being viewed and obtained by Clients on the Site. Such information may be saved by Clients and Creatives may be independently contacted by Clients after they have discontinued their relationship with us.
We also use the information you provide to us in order to fulfil administrative functions associated with the services we provide, such as billing, entering into contracts, marketing and Client relationship purposes.
Use by Third-Parties
MUSE CAREERS may disclose your information to its service providers and contractors from time to time to help us to provide and market the MUSE CAREERS Services to you. We may also provide links and pass online applications to third-party sites. The use of your information by these third-party sites is not within our control and we cannot accept responsibility for the conduct of these third-parties.
Use of Aggregate Data
We may collect certain non-personal information to optimise the MUSE CAREERS Services including pages on our Site for your computer (for example, the identity of your Internet browser, the type of operating system you use, your IP address and the domain name of your Internet service provider). We may use such non-personal information for internal purposes, including but not limited to, improving the content of our Site.

Correcting / Updating Personal Information
MUSE CAREERS gives Creatives the ability to change and modify any information contained in their individual Profile by logging on with a registered user name and password.
In the event you no longer wish your Profile to be maintained on our Site, you will need to advise us in writing.
Any Profiles that have not been accessed or updated by Creatives within a period of five years will be destroyed.

This site contains external links. If you have concerns about how other websites collect and use information about you, please read that website's privacy policy before using it.
Sale of Business
If MUSE CAREERS is sold or integrated with another business, your details may be disclosed to MUSE CAREERS' advisers and any prospective purchasers and their advisers and will be passed on to the new of the business.

By viewing, contributing to, using, linking to, reproducing or otherwise referring to any one or more of the MUSE CAREERS Services, you consent to this Privacy Policy.
